The Cotton Mattress Pad
On average, humans spend over two thousand five hundred hours each year sleeping in their bed. Some people also relax in their bed, work, or spend time with the family watching a movie. Since the bed happens to be one of the most used pieces of furniture in your home, it is important to select the perfect cotton mattress cover.
Cotton mattress pads contain an outer layer of fabric and have either a cotton or foam stuffing. These pads are particularly good for individuals who have old or worn beds, as they allow these individuals to still experience comfort without having to spend hundreds of dollars on a new futon. With the pad being waterproof, it would simply require a damp washcloth to wipe off the cover, and then you can put a new sheet over it to sleep.
Cotton mattress pads are a better option than any foam cover. Foam covers simply lay over the top of the mattress. There is nothing supporting the pad in order to keep it in place. This can be quite a nuisance because it will continually move around and displace itself throughout the night. With a cotton futon cover, this is something the user will never have to worry about. The fitted style keeps this pad in place through any movement or usage.
These cotton covers are available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses to provide added comfort to any bed. Some of the depths are 1″, 2.5″, 3″ or 4″ thick.
